Learning, self-development, the ability to receive and share new knowledge and skills at a distance — today webinars and online master classes are very popular! Let's figure out how to record a webinar so you can watch it again.
First of all, let's understand what a webinar is? A webinar (from the English webinar) is a form of online seminar or presentation that takes place in real-time. Over the past few years, this type of content delivery and interaction between, for example, students and teachers or employees and management has become quite common.
Why record webinars?
Since a webinar is held online, you can only watch it once, here and now, and organizers do not always make the recording publicly available. But what if you don’t have time? Or maybe you want to watch the webinar again to better remember the information? In this case, you can record the video yourself!
If you are conducting the webinar, it will be useful to record it so you can edit the video or share it later.
How to record a webinar from a smartphone?
First, let's look at some ways to make screen recordings from your phone. Many smartphones, whether iPhone or Android, already have a screen recording feature. You can find it in the device settings or quick settings menu; just swipe down from the top of the display a couple of times — you will find the "screen recording" function on the opened control panel.
In addition to this, we offer you several free downloadable programs that will help you make a recording.

There you will also see the settings icon, where you can find additional recording options, adjust the sound, and choose keyboard shortcuts that are convenient for you.
QuickTime Player
MacOS devices also have a built-in screen recording program. For example, QuickTime Player is very handy:
- Go to the app menu and select “File” — there you will find the “New Screen Recording” function.
- To set up recording, open “Options,” so you can set the location on the device where the recording will be stored.
- Click the "Record" button, and when necessary, click "Stop Recording." After that, save the recorded video.
