How to create an account on Instagram

In the age of social networks, almost everyone has pages on social networks. Even cats, dogs, and even Madagascan cockroaches have their own accounts! If, for some reason, you don't have a personal or business page on Instagram*, we will tell you how to create it and what additional services you will need for this.

How to register on Instagram* on a computer

To register on Instagram*, you need to follow this algorithm:

  • launch the application on a smartphone or go to Instagram.com on a computer, laptop, or tablet;
  • click the "Register" button – it is located at the bottom right;
  • enter your email address. Please note: it's best to use an email from gmail.com (link: https://mail.google.com/). Next, you need to enter your first and last name in Latin script, as well as a password that will be used to log into Instagram*. Now click the "Next" button. Note: the username must be original and not match others.
  • specify your date of birth in the form that opens. And – again, click "Next";
  • go to your email: a letter with a confirmation code has already arrived there. Enter this code and – correctly, click the "Next" button;
  • your Instagram* account is created, you can start publishing posts! Do not forget to add the most important and interesting information about yourself or your brand in the profile header. Choose your photo or company logo if you are running a business account.

And now write a post. Remember: the text should not be too long, divided into paragraphs, and definitely engaging. Avoid writing in formal language: people visit Instagram* for entertainment content. Therefore, ease and humor are welcome – even in the accounts of the most serious organizations and the most solid people.

How to register on Instagram* on a phone

In principle, registration on Instagram* on a phone is not much different from the same on a computer. First, you need to go to Instagram*. Then follow these steps:

  • download the application from the App Store or Google Play and install it;
  • click the "Register" button, and then "Create Account";
  • enter the email address you use for registration – and click "Next";
  • enter your first and last name, password to log into your account. Then choose to continue with phone contact synchronization. However, you may not choose this synchronization;
  • start publishing photos, videos, texts, stories – anything you want!
