Creating your own stickers and sticker packs for Telegram is possible without bots. Let's figure out how to do it in 2024.

In early April 2024, Telegram added a new feature. Now, to create a sticker or a set of stickers yourself, you don't need to use a bot. A simple editor, which is already available in your Telegram, is enough. The editor is available to every user, regardless of whether they have a regular account or Telegram Premium.

How to create a sticker for Telegram

The process of creating stickers is quite simple and limited only by your imagination. Any photo can become the base of a sticker, to which you can add text, drawing, other animated stickers, emojis, gifs. But let's go step by step.

Step 1

In the message bar, click on the sticker icon — it's on the left. Then click on the big plus sign.

Step 2

In the opened gallery, choose the photo you plan to base your sticker on.

Step 3

Press the "Cut Object" button, and then touch the object. If needed, use the eraser. And if you want to outline the sticker, press the "Outline" button.

Step 4

Click on the brush at the bottom and design your sticker. For example, you can add text, draw shapes, place additional stickers. Or restore part of the photo using the eraser.

The text color can be changed by clicking on the multicolored circle on the left. And to make it smaller or larger, pinch or spread the two blue dots on the edges of the text frame with your fingers.

Step 5

Choose the emotions that correspond to the sticker.

Step 6

Add the sticker to a set, send it directly to a recipient, or simply save it outside of a set — it's your choice. Come up with a name and press the "Done" button.

That's it, your first sticker is ready!

How to create your own sticker pack

You now have a sticker pack, albeit consisting of just one sticker. Let's add a few more stickers to it. To do this, in the message bar, click on the sticker icon and select your sticker pack by its name.

In the opened folder, click on the big plus sign and choose what you want to do: create a new sticker or add an existing one. After creating a new sticker, click "Add to Set". Now your set has two stickers!

How to add new stickers to a set

You can also add existing stickers to your set. To do this, go to your sticker pack, click the plus sign and choose "Add Existing", and then select any sticker.

Note: You can simply create a sticker set by gathering all your favorite images into one sticker pack — with cats, dogs, frogs, astronauts, and other characters.

How to share a sticker set

You can share stickers and sticker packs. For example, by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner of a sticker pack and choosing "Share". Or simply send a sticker to a chat partner. In the first case, they will receive one sticker and will be able to save the entire set in the future. In the second case, the chat partner will receive a link and will also be able to add the entire set to their collection.

By the way, a sticker can be sent immediately, or scheduled to be sent at another time — just like scheduling posts in the Postmypost social media management service.

Wishing you inspiration and new interesting stickers!
