Friends, we have added a co-authoring feature in the editor.
In this article, we will tell you how to publish posts in collaboration with other users on Instagram*.
What is the co-authoring feature on Instagram* and why is it needed?
The co-authoring feature allows you to collaboratively publish posts or Reels on behalf of multiple accounts. This is convenient if you are working on content with a partner, brand, or another author.
When you publish a post jointly, it automatically appears in the feed of both accounts. Both authors have access to the post's statistics. And most importantly — the publication will be seen by all your followers and the co-author's audience, which significantly increases engagement.
How to add a co-author?
- Create a post as usual: upload a photo or video.

- Click on the three dots in the top corner.
- Select "Tag People" → go to the editor.

- Enter the desired user's username and check the "Co-author" box.

Done! The post will be published on behalf of both accounts.
